7200 Appleby Line
Buffalo Crag’s outlook over the Escarpment is a good reason to stop walking for a moment. Along the rock face, old cedars hold their place and turkey vultures may circle above. Bring a camera, then give yourself time to look without it.
Choose a shorter park walk or plan the longer Nassagaweya Canyon connection toward Crawford Lake. Conservation Halton describes the return journey between the parks as roughly four to five hours. Use the current trail guide to choose a route for your ability and available daylight.
Reservations are recommended. Check admission, weather, trail conditions and closures before leaving, and stay within the marked routes and lookout barriers.

Downtown Milton
Main Street is worth exploring at walking pace. Its brick storefronts make a natural setting for a little browsing, a coffee and a meal that gives the afternoon somewhere to land.
On a market morning, bring a bag and leave the next appointment a little breathing room. Use the BIA calendar for market dates, festivals and street events.
