What this calculation does

The assumptions

  • Ontario residential land transfer tax only. Milton has no Toronto municipal land transfer tax in this model.
  • Deposit is credited toward the down payment. Remaining cash equals down payment less deposit, plus the entered costs and calculated tax.
  • No non-resident tax, HST on a taxable purchase, special exemption or mortgage-insurance premium is calculated. Add applicable costs with your professionals.
